Headlamp Award Evaluation Criteria


To qualify for consideration for the Headlamp Award, organizations must meet the following criteria: Registration: The organization must be officially registered as a legal entity in accordance with the laws and regulations of its respective country.

1. Domicile: The organization must be domiciled in either Africa or Canada. Domicile refers to the organization's legal presence, operations, or headquarters being located within the borders of Africa or Canada.

2. Verifiable Profile: The organization must have a verifiable profile demonstrating its existence, operations, and activities. This includes providing documented evidence such as business registration certificates, organizational charters, official websites, or other credible sources of information.

3. Impact: The organization should have made a positive impact in its community, industry, or society at large through its activities, initiatives, products, or services.

4. Innovation: The organization should demonstrate innovation and creativity in its approach to addressing the Sustainable Development Goals.

5. Sustainability: The organization should exhibit a commitment to sustainability, responsible ESG practices, and ethical conduct. Community Engagement: The organization should be actively engaged with its community, stakeholders, or target audience, fostering positive relationships, collaboration, and dialogue to address shared interests or concerns.
